Obscurity

Obscurity was created to bring awareness to the social masks worn by individuals who self-harm.

The Obscurity project was based on the combined research of social masks in general – how our daily interactions might cover up what is really going on in our lives to full-fill the “social norm” – AND what self-harm is, how it is hidden and how you can help.

Statistics were collected from psychology books, scholarly journals, a 100 person survey, art theory articles, as well as first-hand poems/written accounts by anonymous people who experienced masking everything when they self-harmed.
